Jacob’s guiding principle in life is to serve GOD by serving people. With over 20 years of experience in physiotherapy, he brings deep clinical expertise in treating orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and sports-related conditions.
He began his journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2005, followed by clinical practice in India. To further advance his skills, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy (2008) and later a Master’s in Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy (2014) from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
Jacob has worked at leading healthcare institutions, including Changi General Hospital, Singapore, where he specialised in managing spinal conditions, musculoskeletal dysfunctions, and sports injuries. Over the years, he has taken on roles as a clinician, mentor, supervisor, lecturer, and researcher.
He is highly trained in advanced techniques such as McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Mulligan Concept, Clinical Pilates, Muscle Energy Techniques, and more. He has also worked closely with Accident & Emergency departments, providing acute physiotherapy care.
Currently, Jacob practices at Urban Rehab Private Limited, Singapore. He also serves as a Supervisor for the Allied Health Professional Council (Singapore) and as a Visiting Lecturer at INTI University, Malaysia. His contributions include published research, conference presentations, and conducting professional workshops.
Beyond his clinical work, Jacob co-founded Ropheka International Ministries with his wife, focusing on healing and transforming lives. He travels internationally to serve communities, support charitable causes, and share his faith.
